Clinic – Currie Center (UNB)
Jodie began her post-secondary education at UNB where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree. While at UNB, Jodie was a member of the Women’s Volleyball team and an Academic All-Canadian during those four years. She then pursued her education at Dalhousie University in Halifax, where she obtained her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy Degree.
Since graduating, Jodie has been pursuing her Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy. She can often be found on the sidelines working with teams from UNB, Football NB, the Lady Gladiators Women’s football team, and numerous other organizations in the province. She has completed her Acupuncture – AFCI Level AA1 and the Orthopedic Manual Therapy Level 2 Upper Extremity from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Furthermore, Jodie shows a keen interest in post-concussion management and has taken her courses through Rehab Works. She strongly believes “Exercise is Medicine” and encourages all her patients to be active. Her treatment approach includes exercise prescription, active rehabilitation, manual therapy, as well as acupuncture.
In her spare time, Jodie enjoys working out at the Sweat Club, spending time with her friends, coaching volleyball, camping, hiking, or any other outdoor activity with her fiancé and her dog, Rosco.
